Owning a small business is no easy feat. My name is Jess and I started shop obi in 2020 with my savings account and a dream. At shop obi, I'm all about supporting independent creators and offering unique, affordable clothing and accessories that you won't find in your everyday big corporate brands. But I'm not just in it for the profits. I want to make a positive impact in my community. That's why I'm committed to ethical and sustainable brands, and why I want to work toward opening a brick and mortar store right here in Omaha, Nebraska. For myself, I know it's a big goal, but I'm determined to make it happen with the support of people like you! In opening a store, I hope to provide a welcoming place for all little businesses and brands to showcase, like myself. I also hope to expand shop obi into both new and vintage curated collection of clothing, along with more inclusive sizing for plus size women, and or course more jewelry and accessories. While pop ups are such a fun and great way to bring small businesses together, I also want to offer a place to access shop obi at your convenience, we recognize that events aren't always an option for people to attend, and shopping online just doesn't cut it sometimes. I want to provide an accessible and inclusive space to try it all, before you buy! So if you're looking to support a business that's more than just another money hungry corporation, consider shop obi! I'm passionate about what I do, and I'm dedicated to making a difference.
